Vicki is a freelance writer with five hundred newspaper and magazine articles to her credit.  Her features have appeared in the St. Louis Post Dispatch, The Christian Science Monitor, Western Horseman, American Profile Magazine, American Cowboy, Today's Christian Women, Missouri Life, Ozarks Mountaineer and newspapers in fourteen states.

Vicki is the past President of the Missouri Writers Guild.  She has also taught Culture of the Ozarks at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri and Writing for Children at Ozark Technical College.  She is retired after twenty-five years and fifteen seconds of public school teaching!
