SHIRLEEN SANDO

	Serving six years as president of Skyward Publishing, Shirleen Sando handled and supervised a variety of jobs, including marketing, editing, and book production as well as writing articles, press releases, and other marketing materials.  Shirleen currently serves as a publishing consultant for Skyward Publishing.  Her first publication was Beyond Low Fat Baking, a labor of love to encourage healthier eating in America.  The book is published by Skyward Publishing.
	With a passion for writing, Shirleen serves as a director for Ozark Writers, Incorporated, and is part of an exciting writing project that will help writers in the Ozark region receive more recognition.  Ozark Writers is developing an anthology series, tentatively titled Mysteries of the Ozarks, Volume 1 to be published by Skyward Publishing in 2004.
	Shirleen currently serves as editor for Authorsource.biz where she writes monthly newsletters and offers content support, and she is in the process of establishing two online businesses.  Most recently, Shirleen serves as Executive Producer with a San Francisco producer, and one of America's premier documentary filmmakers serves as documentary advisor.  The project: The Enemy Within, Bipolar Disorders is in pre-production.  Shirleen is currently writing another book series with two authors, tentatively titled: The Secret Lives of Young Detectives.  She has co-authored two children's television scripts.
	Shirleen has taught English and literature at Arkansas State University and the University of Memphis.  She has previously worked with high gifted children, and she has an interest in writing teen and pre-teen stories as well as developing scripts for children and teens.  She has plans to develop future documentaries.
